Writing Takes Time

Writing happens everyday, but putting it together so that a reader can connect to it, is the secret sauce.

A writer will writer all day long or sometimes take time off. It is something you are driven to do. I have learned that sometimes it’s ok to not write. My head is empty and the words feel stale. Other days you will write so much and it feels good but then you have to decide how to take this body of work and deliver it to people. Listen if you love poetry, it’s easy to connect to it. If you don’t you are reading words and feel.. well nothing. I work really hard to create something that will connect with all levels of readers. Experience in life connects us all. Writing Takes Time and the end result is like a presentation. Sometimes you hear applause and other times you hear nothing. Remind yourself as you continue to work on your craft the “it takes time”.

And as long as you practice your craft, put it out there and try… you will always win.
